Hi, I’m Taylor Jakovina. I write psychological thrillers about buried memories, fractured trust, and the danger that creeps in when no one’s paying attention. I’m drawn to stories with unreliable narrators, haunting small towns, and secrets that don’t stay buried.

My debut novel, What She Walked Into, follows a seventeen-year-old girl who wakes up in the woods—standing over her classmate’s buried body—with no memory of how she got there, and a growing fear that she might be the monster.

When I’m not writing fiction, I work in data analytics, solving real-world puzzles that are eerily similar to the ones I build into my stories.
